Cropping Size Calculator

Use this to calculate the size you must crop your image to so that it fits a given size (aspect ratio). This beats the heck out of cropping it at the kiosk or online!

On the left side enter the pixel dimensions of the image you are working with. On the right enter the new desired output size(aspect ratio). i.e. this can be in any units desired but it is the aspect ratio that is used. So lets say you want an 8 by 10 inch and you are starting from 2000 x 3008 pixel image. Enter 8 into the Height field and 10 into the width field then click Calculate. The result of 2000 x 2500 will be the size you should crop the image to in pixels to fit the 8x10 aspect ratio.
